KLE Technological University (KLE Tech) has its roots in one of the premier engineering institutions of Karnataka, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVB), a prestigious engineering college in Hubballi. The founding organization KLE Society, Belgaum, established BVB College in 1947 to create an institution that would lay the foundation of modern engineering education in the northern region of Karnataka.

Over time, it gained tremendous credibility with the industries and employers and emerged as a brand to reckon with. The Alumni of the Institute have done exceedingly well in all spheres of life at both national and international levels and brought name and fame to themselves and their alma mater.

To maintain and enhance its relevance in meeting global economies’ ever-changing demands, the BVB college, under the leadership of Dr. Prabhakar Kore, undertook a strategic initiative to transform itself into a University of National Distinction.

KNIMBUS Digital Library Platform

The Library has automated its services using the Web-Based Library Management System CONTINEO, a comprehensive package to deal with most routine library transactions. All the resources have been completely Bar Coded, which helps in Transactions, OPAC (Online Public Access of Catalogues), and reservation of Books.

Hostel Facility

We at KLE Tech University understand that comfortable, cosy, and safe accommodation is the most crucial requirement for students. Therefore, we have a separate hotel facility for boys and girls equipped with amenities par excellence. Our hostel facility makes students feel home away from home and is supervised by full-time, dedicated hostel wardens. When at the hostel, both staff and students need to adhere to the set rules, norms, and schedules.

Central Library

Central Library came into existence in 1947 and Shifted to New Library Block (C-Lite) in 2003 with a carpet area of 3000 Sq. Mtrs have state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities with 600 seating capacity.
